It works really well. I had a piece of 1 inch pipe for adding extra weight to two 45's for the longest time. To be honest, this was more for my two kids who I train. No use them having crap like their Dad when working their pinch. :mosher

The collars are PDA's Stainless Steel Copericus GINC's on there to prevent rotation.

Sweet setup. The question is - what can you lift on it?

Heck if I know. I just tested it a little with 50 added. I have heard there is some "seasoning". Plus, I won't probably be using it much. My daughter did the setup as is for reps without added weight. My son did some reps with 50 added.

Wanna - seasoning is key to getting it consistant. Have them just rub chalk into it when they're sitting around until it starts holding it. It takes a while to get it prepared.

That looks sweet! :rolleyes

I hope you and your kids have a good time with it. Let us know what width you like! I also find it great your daugther works out with you guys. Hopfully you will be able to make it to GGC next year to show off your pinch strenght!

Thanks Bill and happy training!
