1stCoC
I took a day trip to North Carolina and saw an anvil that was the OLDEST son of a gun I have ever seen.....I have quite a few oldies but.....This 170 or so pounder had no horn OR extended squared end. Looking in my reference books it says this was the type used in the Middle Ages! It was SO different looking I just marveled at it. Also, after lifting a 105 mm cannon round by the nose for its owner he allowed me the honor of buying it and prepairing the little devil to meet the " Grip Gauntlet buddies" in my office. The more I think about it, that old anvil.......Hmmmmm... that iron is calling me.............

Roark
Was the anvil's horn missing before or after you put your paws on it?
blueshadow
Richard, you might want to take Syber's advice and utilize chains to add another 2-3 hundred pounds to it and use it for warm-ups!!
