Assault on the #3

Recommended Posts

I'm gonna start Steve Justa's singles plan #1 with strapholds on Sunday & I guarantee I'll be certified by the end of the summer & I'll be in the fall Milo. (if everything goes right) I'll start with my #1 & use the my (double stamped if that means anything) #2 asap & keep adding weight consistently. Just to be different, I'll get certified with my left hand.

Nathan, I have used the Justa single routine with great results on Military press one time and just finished a cycle for the inch DB DL. The gripper Idea may workout well I just think it would be easy to go over your 70% target if you dont keep an eye on it.Mike

The end of the summer is too late for the Sept. Issue.  You will miss it and hit December if you get it done by I believe the first part of July or before.

As Steve would say: "See you in MILO!" :)

Wanna: I'll just have to do it faster then. Gimme just 2 months.

Paul: It's in Rock Iron Steel: The Book of Strength. On Sundays you start with 3 singles & add 2 each day until sat. where you've worked up to 15, add weight &  start again on sunday. The weight has to be ~70% or you'll overtrain

Ok I just sent off the stuff for my #3 & I guess it'll be here in a couple weeks. I don't think I should even bother opening it though until I'm using my #2+15lbs or something.

Jeff, here's what he means: Strap Holds

These are one of the most effective ways to get the last 1/4" of a gripper.
