Grippers Cold?

So I hate grippers k...

The past few days I have been sitting around thinking about how Im gonna work my way up the grippers..

Id grab my HG 300 and give it a go and come no where close, I was doing that a few times a day every 3rd day for the past week and nothing...

So tonight I go into teh gym to hit up my regular grip workout and huh? I close the HG 300 for 5 reps? and then close it for 1 with my left?

So what is going on? luck or just obscurity?

Does doing grippers cold help anyone else?

but it seems my gripper strength has gotten stronger just by squeezing hard grippers when my hand are cold and not coming anywher close...

Give yourself a week off, then come back and try to close that very same gripper without a warmup. :)

Dammit Malcolm, you are doing this on purpose. You pretend to fall behind in grippers, and then the moment I pass you...BAM! You fly ahead again.

Seriously though I'm glad to hear your grip has come back.

LS, it was soo weird though man...

I had been trying to close that HG 300 cold here and there and getting it roughly to paralell....

Then I go to the gym and decide I should do grippers and did them with this football guy and I just picked uped the 2 and destroyed it, then picked up the HG and destroyed it!

it was just luck man, but hopefully I have a horse shoe up my bleep!

after a few days of rest i am usually at my best but don't rest to much or you could loose strength

Nice work repping the HG300; it's a slippery devil!

I never do them cold usually. I generally miss the HG300 and Super Master cold, and get a dozen reps+ after lifting like bench pressing. Makes a huge difference for me.

but the thing is that before WITH a warmup I was still not making it any further than without, then yesterday BAM out of no where this...

Im not complaining, just looking for wether or not I should continue to do this or is it possible that it is harmfull to my hands.

I do better after I'm lifting as well. When I just do a grip workout and warm-up, I don't do as well.
