diesel Posted November 6, 2005 Share Posted November 6, 2005 i wanted to announce to the board that on friday the 4th, i bent the Red Nail DO with the IM pads in approximately 30 seconds. my close friends at school and my parents were my witnesses (video was also taken). i want to thank the board for the aid you have given me since i started my grip journey about 10 months ago. i appreciate all the help, suggestions, comments, inspiration, and motivation you have given me over that time. a big thanx to carusom1 for startin me out in grip last semester. a big thanx to dieselcrew for the continual video inspiration. a big thanx to all the christian bros on the board for the prayer support. a big thanx to GM and all the members over there for driving me toward perfection (paul, mat, ben, and the rest of the crew..you guys rock). a big thanx to dan praydis for his support. a big thanx to ray (crusher) for getting me through KTA last semester and helping me achieve my goals. and all the countless others, thanx a lot. for the record, i progressed with IM green, yelow, blue, 60d, and finally, red. i had a few zincs in there (maybe 2 or 3 1/4" pieces) and a few 1/4" HRS. to God be all the glory on this bend. diesel Posted November 8, 2005 Author Share Posted November 8, 2005 thanx a lot guys. i appreciate all the comments. this board has meant a lot to me, and i sincerely thank all of you. how long did it take you to get from the yellow to the blue (iam wondering because i am currentley at the yellow)it took me about 3 workouts, or pretty much the time it takes to order and receive a shipment or IM nails. if i were to suggest anything, it would be volume from the beginning. i made sure i was getting an easy 10-15 bends with each nail i was working on. when i could roll through a good amount of yellows no prob, i put in the order for the blues. I wish I was there to go through it with you. Keep bending- don't let that fire get away from you! same mike...it would have been good to celebrate with you (especially as you completed your bends). one day i figure i will meet up with you again, and we can rock out a good session and bbq.
