Has anyone ever hung grippers, by the spring, to a rope where the other end was attached to a pullup/chinup bar? You'd of course make sure you could no set these grippers with confidence, and you could use these to perform pullups/chinups?

Have yet to try it, but I think it could make an interesting variation.

Tried it a while back - hurts more than hard. Put my wrists on a bind - try it and tell me what you think.

I didn't think I would be the first at all to do something like this, just wanted to see who else had thought of/tried it.

I think Brad "The Rafter Man" tried something a little different. Instead of your idea of hanging the grippers up by the spring and pulling yourself up by the handles while closing them, he pulled himself up by straps between the gripper handles. Basically doing a monster straphold.
