Mitch Kirchner
I'm going to start hub and block pinching I'm thinking on getting a block of steel around 4-4 1/2 inches and a pipe about 3 to 3 1/2 inches does this sound like a good size to pinch to maximize my crushing grip. Which one is overall better to pinch to gain the most on your crushing grip. Big or small stuff?

climber511
Going too wide may not carry over as much as a more moderate width as far as crush goes but I guess the question is "crush what"? Personally, I'd go a little narrower for true crush strength - 3" to 4 1/2" is for me at least a "wide" pinch and carries over to blocks and blobs but not crush like one uses for grippers.
