joehawkins Posted October 20, 2005 Share Posted October 20, 2005 Hello I like to make my own toys at home, thought of this for the "rolling thunder" handle. One piece of 6" 1.5 ID pipe with a long string of chain running thru it. Then just slip a piece of pipe insulation over that, and a 2"ID piece of pipe over that. Revtor Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 well, it wont be as revolving as the real deal, but the size will be very close. At the depot (and i guess Lowes also) you can get pipe nipples in different lengths if they dont want to cut you a 6" length. I think I need the pipe insulation too, right, cuz the metal on metal if I just use pipes will prevent it from rolling smoothly, I think.
