abrasivemoon39
I recently came across a product called 'EZgrips' by Ivanko. I was just curious as to whether or not anyone on these boards has ever tried 'em before. They seem like they're reasonably thick, although there isn't any information listed as to how many inches in diameter they are. Here is a Link to the them; http://www.qfac.com/gear/ezgrips.html . Any comments or opinions on them would be great.

abrasivemoon39
Junk ...Just get some dense pipe installation same thing.Wrap your dumbell handle with it and hold on tight.Dont tape the istallation. ← Why in your opinion is it junk? It's by Ivanko, so it must have at least decent production quality, no? What would the benefit of 'dense pipe installation' be over these grips? Other than the obvious notion of price. I mean, I would think that these 'Ez Grips' would be far more durable than 'dense pipe installation', but I am new to the Grip Strength scene, so I'm only speculating here. Thanks for the post though.
dennisb
Let me rephrase the answer.Me myself would not use this because from what i can tell it looks like a fancypiece of pipe installation with a plastic grip. For 30 something bucks. In my opinion to much money. If you like stuff like that then go for it. I have a feeling Brookfield wouldnt use that he'd wrap a thick hand towel or something around the dumbell or use a thick rope for pullups. But different strokes for different folks. I dont wanna sound mean but I dont think its worth the money. Besides what they want for that you can get a harder gripper for less thats more then likely going to do alot more for grip strength. Just my 2 cents.
Steve B.
There not bad for wrist curls or BB or DB curls. They work alot like a thick bar by opening up your hands. I only really like them on the exercises i've mentioned. Heavy things like deadlifts or pull ups with them don't really have a good feel to me.Look around i have seen them as low as 19.99 on one site. Can't remember which one.
