Preimes
I bent 2 of these this evening using reverse style to start and finishing DO. I have just started bending and was curious to where these would rank. Thanks a lot guys, -Matt Edited October 6, 2005 by Preimes
Oldtime
eww.....thats a tough one.. I would guess thats around a red or atleast 5/167" hrs, in terms of crushing maybe tougher. Edited October 6, 2005 by Oldtime

Just as a gauge, I failed bending a 1/4" x 7" spike the other day. BTW- nice red bend! That is unbelievable for your age and weight Matt
gripmaniac
I'd rate it a bit less than a IM Blue. Being a carriage bolt, the shaft is smaller (7.0mm) than the thread (7.93mm). The crushdown is a lot easier than an IM Blue Dave
AP
A carrige bolt? Threaded all the way around? Way easy but welcome to bending. You'll be hitting grade 5s in no time with hard work keep it up! You'll gain ALOT of strength right away as you dial in your technique so keep at it.
Oldtime
Oh fully threaded, yea those are easy.. Now that i think about it, 5/16 g2's are easy. I bent one 5/16 6" g2 when my best bend was a g5.
carusom1
it is somewhere around a grade 2 hex bolt if you bend it back, it should break right away
