SqeezeMasterFlash
I'm looking to keep my workouts short and mix in some light bicep work with my grip work. Has anyone here had success with pinch grip hammer curls? Maybe with 3 10's or a light blob? I'm going to give them a try tonight. I'll let you know how it turns out. underdawg
They're tough on the thumb, but you probably won't be able to get anywhere close to enough weight to begin to tax the biceps. Great grip excercise though.
pdoire
If you end the movement with the plates or blob facing up like in a real curl I think it will work your biceps more directly...but as Jonathan said the weight will make it so it isn't a real bicep workout.. Starkmann
I'm a noob but I was experimenting with these and pinch grip side raises before I got onto a program. Based on that experience my recommendation is to use one handed pinches for side and front raises but use a two handed pinch with 3 and 9 on the clock grip for the bicep curls. That way you may be able to curl up to three plates, assuming your grip is considerably better than mine.
