i think i am slowly inventing a new training style for myself!

you do high reps for a few sets with a moderate gripper.

then you take off at least three days or more.

then go for some heavy singles.

i just did my coc 2 for 48 reps...besting my old pr by 3 reps.

this is three days after i had my best ever experiance with my coc 3...doing it for five singles. and almost a 6th!

so now i will wait three days and see what kind of damage i can do on my 3!

i just got around to doing my second set.....had a bunch of customers come in lol...im at work.

i only got 41 reps for my second set.

what i am calling reps are this...

1 rep=closing all the way and opening between 3/4-1 inch.

most i open to about an inch before closing agian.

i get fast and easy click into the low 30s then i have to work harder. by 40 im using some serious force to close it.

ill go for my 3rd and final set in about five min or so if im not inturuped lol

well my job is not involving computers but i sit on my mini computer alot of rthe time.

its sweet.

i can grip,watch tv,dvds,internet,and lastly work lol

See if you can get your hands on a video camera or digi camera to throw up a video, definately wanna see the #2 for that many times, nice work

i have a camcorder....its a mini dv one but i have no idea how to get from that to the net?

i garentee id get over 50 on film because of adrenaline lol

my camera phone takes small videos but not enough to get around 50 reps.

i rep the #2 up rto 30 as fast as i use to rep the#1 not long ago.

i might time it today to 30 reps.

I think you'd need whats called an optical cable to transfer it to the computer thru the usb port. I'm not totally sure with vid cameras though, I just use my digital. Wanna or others who use vid camera would know .

each was opened to about 3/4 inch.

i dont set the gripper.

i use a no set always.

i can no set the 3.

yeah and i owe it all to not overtaining.

im telling you guys...training once a week or even up to two weeks can work.

some guys just overtrain and spin there wheels.

imo when you have to wear medicated mittens to bed you have crossed the sanity line.

i have went from closing the coc2 for around 10-12 reps when i trained more to now literly OWNING the 2.

i can do it rightside up,upside down,table no set without a pinky,with a small set i can do it easy with just two fingers.

once my friend tried to use the excusse his hands were slippry so i dunked my hand in water and no set the two.

i have done no training to warrent this improvment.

and my improvment on the coc3,which even i am suprised,is great.

i closed my 3 with no warmup,no set,and no chalk....5 times.

i compare this to the late mike metzegers H.I.T. training program.

look it up for more info.

its a bodybuiling/streght program.

i belive i will eventualy,without hard training,get the 3 for some multipul reps.

if your in a rut,try this.

dont do anything grip related for a month. then just do high reps one week and max singles the next...could work for you

how big are your hands and how long have you been grip trainning?

whatever my join date was here on the grip board was is about the same as the start of my gripping.

my hands are 8 inches.
