gamidon
THis is just in not official VBAR Thorton broke the record and then Jedd tied that. Then Thorton when to 380 got it an inch off the ground and tore his hand pretty bad. Current standing with levering and medly left Jedd 26 Thorton 23.7 Chad 23 Dave 19.5 Dave got hurt on the pinch only getting 180 and got 320 on VBAR. David Horne
Well after entertaining guests I've got on the GB to see what's happening. Congrats to all the performers, and of course massive well done to the new record holders. Jedd's on a roll! David
jad
Wow! Thanks for all the updates. This is going to be really interesting. If Dave reinjured his thumb that will have to hamper him on the levering and with Thornton's hand tore up it will be hard for him to maintain the lead over Chad. This one is going to be close Any updates on the small hand or is Tommy just whupping everybody? Edited September 17, 2005 by jad
carusom1
How do yo tear your hand on the V-bar? How did Dave get hurt doing pinch, was a reaccuring injury? I hope that everyone stays healthy the rest of the day thanks for the updates

gamidon
I should clairfy Dave's points got hurt on the pinch not him.... sorry. When you pick up 380 pounds on a VBAR and you are squeezing hard enough to lift it. When that bar slides out, it is usually taking large parts of your hand with it... That is how you get hurt on VBAR.... 380 pounds is unreal and he came very close to getting it. Dave calls me inbetween events there is very little time to talk. He said his VBAR was very easy for him he was much more concerned about his back than his grip.
