Oldtime
I definatlythink you have the strength the bend it, you just gave up too early. One thing i noticed is your nail placment in your hand on the crushdown, it looked like it was placed in the center of your palm, I find that if it put the end of the nail on the bottom of my thumbpad it makes the crushdown alot more pleasent and do-able If you dont quiet understand what im saying il post a picture ... Oldtime
Right around where the red dot is where my sweet spot is for crushing down nails, again finding the form that works best for you will take some time. http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=9/25714431887.jpg&s=x1

Scott Styles
I predict with a little hands on help this weekend, you are going to destroy a bar like that, or even stronger. Get your hands like oldtime said and crushing down a bar that long won't be a problem. Also, don't hesitate to re-attack a bar once you've put a good kink it. I know once that bar gets cold it is supposed to be harder to bend, but sometimes the pain in your hand just needs a minute to subside. Not that they are exceptional, but all of my best bends took 10 minutes or so to finish the bar.

diesel
Will do and I got 50 Yellows arrivng on Monday so I hope I can bend them and on to the Blue which is the one that really worries me good for you gripperm. you did well with the 90 degree bend, and i imagine it won't take too long for you to completely finish that off. good luck with the yellows, and imo, the blues (or in my case, a blue equivalent...the 'official blue' won't come for another week or so) aren't much worse. it is just requires a little more 'oomph' in the beginning. you will be fine. it is only steel good luck. keep postin those videos. FrankyBoy
1. If you can put the nail a bit higher, right under your chin 2. Your pads slip around the bar, thats not good, chalk them up and wrap then tigher. But a weight on one side of the pad and wrap the bar from the other side by holding the pad under tension. With a bar slipping that much is hard to hit the bar hard. 3. You were stopped at the infamous 90° point. There is a 2nd technique which can be applied here. You switched immediatly to the classical crushdown technique with the folded hands. Try the following: Open just one hand, the other still grabs the bar, so you have more room to bring the ends a bit closer.
Cunny
Well I'm not a good bender, but one thing I have picked up is to make things harder, so maybe bring your hands into the middle more to decrease leverage
FrankyBoy
If you want to make things harder, bend harder steel.
Lyle
Since I'm late on my reply, I'm guessing that by now you've destroyed that bar, as you weren't far from it in the vid.
