Right now im using a hose clap choker on my hard hg300 its set to 1.25 inches and on a good day im still maybe an 1/8 of an inch away.

Where do you guys set the handles when using chokers? Do you think I've set mine to far apart?

Captain,

What many are doing is setting it at the distance that they can close it at, then work their way backwards..slowly opening it periodically.

so do you think i should try a deeper set then?

Absolutely, until you find that place where you can close it...don't worry about the gap right now...

I'm closing a #3, choked at 3/8" for 10 singles with each hand. I'll do this for 2 or 3 workouts and then let the choker out to 1/2" and do workouts at that range until I master it. :happy
