Muscle Turtle
Lately while I have been bending, the middle of my hand feels very tender, almost as though there isnt enough padding in my wraps. Anyone else get this? Is it just a bit of soft tissue that needs some rest? Thanks.
Oldtime
happens tome alotonmax effort bends... thats why i hate IM pads. i use about 16 inches of fairly rough suede, it seems to take away the pain.
com202
I get the same thing when I'm trying really hard. The center of my palms feel numb for a little while. I've never had any long term problems with it. Later, Jason
Left Side
I have the same problem Turtle, I blame both IM pads and my sissy palms.
nickr104
The shorter the bars you bend the worse that will get without the proper recovery time.
burner
Hey muscle man, I'll give u the same advice greg and dave gave me. "Stop the whining and keep doing it, eventually it won't hurt anymore." That goes for many grip feats.!! It was some of the best advice I ever got. Lyle
I always used IM pads, so I have nothing to compare, but I found my hands toughened over time and I am now very accustomed to the IM pads, sore hands are a part of bending, just keep soreness and injury seperate...and you'll be fine. You can train thru soreness (good pain) but to try to train thru an injury (bad pain) is just plain stupid. Use common sense. Unfortunately common sense isn't very common.
