Mine are around 8.5", this is interesting as R. Sorin and I were talking about this very issue when I was ordering an inch from him, this will be an interesting project.

Where is Ron Mazza on that list?

I personally witnessed him just miss the clean with the Inch a couple times. He deadlifts the inch like I deadlift 135. No joke, the mans insanely strong.

Dave, I don't know Ron's hand measurement but he doesn't have garagantuan hands, I'd say certainly under 8", maybe under 7.75".

He high pulls it easily and I believe can do multiple bent over rows as well.

Steve's thumb is 8.25" long as well, so I imagine that helps ;)

Ha ha. It's only 4 inches. Funny how most grip guys I have met have stumpy little thumbs. Including Clay :happy

I definitely misread the original post. I must have been having a foggy moment. Those pulls that day were pretty intense man. Ron makes it look ridiculously easy.

My apologies that Clay and Ron were not on the list. I updated it.

When I have time some night and am not working out or doing work for work until 10 PM I will post some ridiculous footage of Ron Mazza getting ridiculous with the Inch dumbbell. Sick.

I believe Chad Woodall (Too Tall) has lifted the Inch as well. Don't know about hand size but the man is very tall. 6' 8" (according to the MM cert) ???

What is meant by a "lift"these days?

Just breaking it off the floor?mid shin?or full deadlift?

Is this just about forum members??....cause there are a lot more INCH lifters out there and a survey of smallest and biggest hands-though interesting-might be more conclusive if you included the dozens of other INCH "lifters".

Travis Ortmayer got it about 1'' from locking out before he dropped it at the Show of Strength this year. That was the first time he had ever touched one.
