pdoire
Seeing how some bend the 7" and under steel, and some bend the big bars over various body parts..has anyone seen or heard of someone actually bending a tire iron (not on lug nuts...I've done that!! and I suck at bending)?? Dude
I thought Brookfield was able to. I think it said something about it in one of his videos here on the gripboard, I'll see If I can find it.
Lyle
I remember a post a while back about some who would push two ends of a 4 ended iron together
Dude
like stepping on one end and bending it, over the knee, etc..? That way?

Lyle
like stepping on one end and bending it, over the knee, etc..? That way? ← no like holding two ends that are 90d to each other and crushing them together
Dude
that sounds even harder. Wonder if there are specs on it as far as what it would take in lbs to kink or bend one, or the yield strength of one.

I wouldnt be surprised if you could do some damage to it man.
Lyle
Thanks but no thanks, the hardest long stuff I bent was a 21'' of 1/2 round stock, and that was hard enough.
Dude
Wow thats some thick stuff. I'll try the tire iron later I think, doubt she'll move though Edited August 27, 2005 by Dude

Dude
Gave it hell and she didnt move a bit. I even tried sitting on my ass and pushing with my feet to bend it that way but nothing. This is an older t-iron though so it might be a bit more rugged than the newer ones. If I get my hands on a new one I'll give it a go.
