Guest Jeff Roark
What was the length, width and depth of the block he used in pinching his world record? I am not a craftsman, like some around here, but for sure someone could probably duplicate one or have one made. I think he said he used highly polished stainless steel correct? Now if a person had a block like his, attach it to a low pulley wouldn't this be in a sense the same as his machine? Or if thats a problem just attach it directly to the weight stack pin where the cable attaches... last night after noy touching the grippers for about 2 months I mashed the #2x3 and the BBM down to 1/4 inch... Roark
Jeff, Congrats on the #2 for three reps! Not sure that Vince revealed the measurements for his machine's grip plate, but even if he removed that plate from his machine and sent it to you to attach as you suggested to another apparatus, he would probably deem it impossible to determine a meaningful ratio.
