rocky dennis Posted July 30, 2005 Share Posted July 30, 2005 (edited) How do you tell if a bar or wrench is tempered? ← It is usually on the handle ,but what you don't know is the degree to which the tool or wrench has been tempered or forged.There are extra steps involved in making the higher end wrenches such as craftsman that can (and usually are) skipped in making the cheaper ones.
