Anyone do this??

      Does anyone here do this exercise?

Get a gripper, close it, but with a plate in between the

handles. I hold it for time. If anyone does this regulary i'd like to know what effect it's had on your grip??

I've thought of closing grippers on things of different thicknesses to strengthen certain parts of the squeeze, but never actually done anything with it. I think I should though because with strapholds I feel like only the last part gets worked really hard, so it's easy to hold one closed, but hard to get it there.
