What Would You Equate The Bending Of A Red Nail To

Would you say a red nail is equivalent to a certain squat, deadlift, or press?

I know tons of strong men who can pull/press/squat hundreds of pounds. but I don't know anyone who can bend the nail yellow, but then again, none of those people practice bending nails.

One thing I have noticed though, is that the people I've seen in videos/pictures who have bent the red nail, appear to be very large / strong people. A lot of 300lbers.

So, back to the subject, what weight lifting feat would you say bending a red nail equals? A 500 deadlift? 300 bench? maybe a 400 squat? Or am I way off track and it's more like an 700 deadlift 500 bench, etc.

I find its hard to compare bending to such lifts, esecially because technique plays a large roll in what it takes to make a hard bend as well as there probibly is no parallels in weight numbers of certain lifts. Personally I know I couldnt bench 300 right now if I got under the bar. Hell, any of the numbers mentioned are far above me. However, I can bend a red. There is no question though that when your upper body is super strong (like many of these 250 lb ppl and up) and you attakc a nail, there is that much more force the nail has to fight.

But to answer your question, with DO technique, I personally think bending a red if below a 500 lb squat or something of that nature.
