Justin Reagan
I had a good bending workout today. I wasn't feeling really that strong today, but I guess that didn't really make a difference. It went like this-- warm-up: 5" x 3/16" zinc plated steel X 1, TT X 1 workout: 7" x 1/4" HRS X 1 7" x 1/4" HRS X 0 couldn't do any more than kink it--tried several times TT X 1 7" x 1/4" HRS (already kinked one) X 0 tried the kinked HRS again--no luck TT X 1 7" x 1/4" HRS X 1 tried another straight one - got it 6" x 1/4" HRS X 1 (BIG PR!) !!!! I just felt like I could do it???? TT X 2 6" x 1/4" G2 hex bolt X 2 5" x 3/16" CRS X 2 This was great! For some reason, if I don't bend something completely the first time, it just won't go no matter how many times I try. I don't think it's completely the heat factor, because sometimes during one bend, I'll pause for a few seconds, which probably lets it cool down. When I do this, I can still finish it. When I get stuck on a bend and try to rest for a minute or so to finish it, I just can't do it. As seen in my workout, I can start and finish a straight one better than I can finish one that is already kinked. Strange. But that doesn't really matter. I bent a 6" x 1/4" piece of HRS! I think I'll put off bending for 2 or 3 days, then go at it again. (instead of trying to do some more bending tomorrow--bad idea) Justin Reagan
