David Horne
Probably due to Franky Boy, and also due to having a wrist injury which has put me out of armwrestling, I am now going to strengthen my grip again and get ready for the grip contests next year. This will be quite a challenge as I firstly have to overcome the injury, and also there are many fine athletes around to test me. If I qualify at next years Brits, then Germany here I come, unless it clashes with my wedding. Any dates confirmed for next year? zpf
David, Welcome back! Looking forward to hearing how your training progresses and your injury recovers (if you are going to post your training). Have you been practicing any grip exercise at all since arm wrestling? I should imagine you still have retained your general purpose strength and fitness for lifting and you have started practicing some nail snapping, maybe just some diminishment in the specific disciplines. David Horne
Chris, I've done very little grip work in the last 9 months really. But now I'm pouring it on, and enjoying it! It'll be interesting to see how it all goes, and yes it will be nice when the wrist injury clears up. David
