Oldtime Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 Sorry to be a nuisance with all my recent threads but i need to know what kind of grade bolt this is. at the top of the bolt head it says "BBB" its 1/4 6" zinc plated, also i got a bolt similar but a inch shorted th IF someone could find the grade of one of these bolts that would be great because im sure there all the same. Grade 5 has 3 lines or hash marks on top of the bolt head Grade 8 has 5 lines or hash marks on top of the bolt head Grade 9 has 9 lines or hash marks on top of the bolt head So it sounds like you have yourself a Grade 2 by your description. Dude Posted June 8, 2005 Share Posted June 8, 2005 Yeah, those BBB were the same ones I bought at Home Depot too. Didn't know if it was a grade 2 or if it counted as zinc plated stuff.
