chrlslee1 Posted May 30, 2005 Share Posted May 30, 2005 He is right. Home depot sells a box of them for $45.00, its insane. Dont buy them. Your best bet is to buy steel rods from a steel supplier. Spiral 60d's that are noticably tougher than the blue. These are the only spiral nails I have experience with though. The brand is Duchesne. http://www.duchesne.ca/english/gamme/clous_construction.php BTW - I just bent my first blue recently as well ( tonight actually). This is the first time I've had a blue to try. It was fairly easy compared to those spiral nails mentioned above. Pretty neat to find out where I am bending wise.
