tx_fireman
My two sons and I decided to go pick up some timber ties, at Lowes, to have fun with today. 60D spiral 6 inchers. From the research I have done I figured it would take around 170 lbs. to crunch them. Warmed up on some whites and greens. Took a timber nail, wrapped it, and crunched down on it. I put a pretty good kink in it; but, that was it. Tried another with the same results. Come to find out, there is a big difference between the 12 twist per nail and the 8 twist per nail! I need to go pick up the 12's now...and I have always preached "Attention to Details!" To make myself feel better, I bent 6 yellows and 2 blues. Back to Lowe's! Left Side
You're bending blues without any previous training? That's sick man. Keep up the good work and you may be able to impress your sons with a red nail certification.
