Concrete Pete Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 ok this is my first try from the benders bag... the horseshoe was a no go i bent 7 inch 1/4 stock 6 inch, and a braced 5 inch 1/4 stock by far harder than ironmind stock.also almost a full bend on a grade 5 6inch bend unbraced but i couldnt finished it off ,by this time i ran out of gas. before the grade 5 i bent 2 grade 2 5/16ths new pr, and 2 60d`s and 4 blue nails and about 10 timber ties. i also tried a 7 inch piece of 1/4 square but i couldnt budge it lol. oh well there is always the next workout. You hang in there, recover and have another go at it in the near future. If horseshoes were easy to bend then you would see a lot more horses tripping and skinning their knees in parades.
