I asked for the info so he sent it to me, and here's the link to it: http://home.comcast.net/~ryanka/ClarksBenchCompetition.doc Summary Bench comp. - bodyweight for reps; no shirts/suits/wraps of any kind = raw. - 1st place = $1,200 cash - 2nd place = $500 cash - 3rd place = $250 gift certificate (edit) Women's Bench comp. - 1st place = $500 - 2nd place = $200 Chinup and Dips comp. - $100 gift certificate to winner of each comp. GRIP CONTEST - close the #3 = $50 cash - close the #4 = $200 cash - Rolling Thunder: pull 300 pounds = $300 cash Date and Time: Saturday, June 4th. 11 am - 5 pm or later Location: Clark's Nutritional Center 4225 Market St. Riverside, CA (909) 686-4757 I know there are quite a few guys in California who could win some money at this contest. Randy Strossen is an acquaintance of Starky's, so he may show up at the event. Maybe Clay can come back to visit California for this contest! He's guaranteed $250 (closing #3 and #4). Reply if you're interested in going, so I can email Starky and let him know how many gripsters are gonna show. Hopefully one of you can win the bench comp, too.
