trickykid1000 Posted April 27, 2005 Share Posted April 27, 2005 I'm just looking into making a PVC blob, but I'm having big problems finding the 6 inch (or similar) PVC tube and end caps that I need. The regular DIY places don't seem to stock this stuff. Can anyone advise me of where to buy PVC tubing and fittings in these larger sizes, at reasonable prices. Is there a web source, or a particular shop or type of shop I need to investigate. I'm in the Southampton area. Many thanks, I'm sure I won't be the only one to benefit if anyone can help. Old Dax Posted April 27, 2005 Share Posted April 27, 2005 Tricky, I'd investigate Plumber's merchants or builder's suppliers. Sounds like the stuff they use for drains / drainage would suit or possibly large drain pipes? The only other thing that springs to mind is if you know any one who works for the gas board (or similar) you might be able to persuade the to give you some offcuts. Let us know how you get on. However, if I knew that they stocked the parts I'm after I would make a special trip. So if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very appreciative.
