John Beatty
I've been training grippers consistently for about a month 3-5 days a week. Brought them all inside, put them above the desk. Got my #2 for 8 Right handed & 3 on the left a few nights ago. I'd forgotten the 400 & 500 were in my gym bag & was showing a co-worker those grippers at the gym this afternoon. I grabbed the 400 & had it to 1/8" or less. Totally surprised me. Probably 1/4" more than ever before. I'll close it soon, then the #3 will fall. pdoire
John try to take a real low grip on those big handles and maximize the length of them. You will have it in no time. Make sure it's seasoned!! Edited April 1, 2005 by pdoire
Gluteus Maximus
That intensity you had gripping in front of a co-worker might be harnessed for future workouts. Try to identify that exact feeling and maybe you can make it stronger. I've witnessed the mind's ability to overcome all types of stuff(especially if a lady's watching)- yours may help you lick the #3. #
capt. crushalot
John, It looks like your recent gripper training is starting to pay off. Soon you will hear the sound of grinding gripper handles. Keep up the excellent progress!

madss
John, the big issue with the 400 is its size and shape. It is easier then a three and I beat you will close it soon since you are incorporating it into your workout.
