I'm wondering how one would use this device in a workout - swing in a back & forth hammering motion, or leverage it side to side like a pendulum?  How much weight do you use?

Squeezer,

Use it the same as you would a sledgehammer,

arm extended out to front or side, and gently lower to

face or side of head and back up again, using only wrist

strength.

There's also the Weaver lift (of which a picture can be

found in the gallery on the Grippage)plus Tom Black hammer

levering.

Read Tom Blacks workout reports on the Grippage, his

levering is one of his strong points amongst other things.

As for weight, don't be tempted to use too much at first,

levering takes it's toll on the wrists, not to mention the

face if the bar drops rapidly!

I'm sure others have more ideas.

Good luck and welcome to the board.

  Woody.

I use it by holding my arm out in front of me, gripping with my thumb up.  I then rotate my hand so my palm is down and and back over so my palm is up.  THis destroys my forearm and taxes my grip.

Good luck,

Rick Walker :hehe

This is my favorite method of using the HHII:

Hold it (the weight) over your shoulder keeping the bar horizontal and your forearm vertical.  Keep the wrist as straight as possible.  Work up to heavy weights like this.  :)
