Bending And Strength

what type of strength would bending give you. for example how would it compare to bench press. would bending help you more than benching for grappling.

BENDING IS A ADD ON STRENGTH THAT MAKES THE TENDONS AND MUSCLES STRONGER EVERYTHING YOU DO WILL MAKE YOU STRONGER IF YOU KEEP AT IT AND ADD ON WEIGHT WHEN NEEDED OR BEND A THICKER NAIL IT ALL ADDS UP TO GETTING STRONGER :yikes

Bending makes you stronger at bending. It does affect the whole upper body, so yes it would help out with most upper body things. Grappling you are always in weird configurations and whatnot, so it wouldn't hurt. Bench press really doesn't help you with grappling either, so bending wouldn't be any less. Grapplers usually use pulling muscles more than pushing, so for grappling try more back/bicep stuff and just grapple often.

Bending is great for strengthening the hands and wrists.

A stronger grip can only help in wrestling.

Chinups are great for wrestling. When my brother used to

wrestle years ago, chinups helped him tremendously.

He used to do standard chinups with hands shouldler

width apart and palms facing him.

He got so strong at pulling from chinups, that he was

able to give one of the team's best wrestlers some

real competition.

I think a lot of what we develops specific strength, and that rarely carries over to general gym training.

makes your bending better, and give you the ability to crush skulls "only if your into that stuff,,,which I'm not"......
