#3 Closers...how Close Can You Hold Your 4

I am less than a 1/2 inch on my #3 (with a set)...and i can hold my #4 about 1/2-3/4 for time with a cheat close.

what you guys who have closed 3's or beyond hold on your 4?

If I cheat it closed I can hold it at about a 1/4 to 3/8. I voted for 3/8.

using more than one hand...smashing it against your leg, floor, etc. anything but a one hand close.

i wish i had a #4 so i could see how i can do. im sure i wont be even close though.

If I can set it the old way I could get it past past pararlell. If I supported my rest you could get about 10 playing cards between the handles.

I don't think I understand the question. I can cheat close it against my leg until the handles touch, but holding it? That's a different story ...

I've never really measured, but it's not much. Parallel maybe.
