JohnOBrien Posted January 11, 2005 Share Posted January 11, 2005 Today I was honored to witness Brett Kerby (KerbJr) take down the IM Red in about 10 seconds using only the IM Rags (as per the rules). When he finished the Red, he turned around and certified on the 6.5" FBBC bar. He had an outstanding day and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy! Way to go Brett! kerbjr Posted January 12, 2005 Share Posted January 12, 2005 Thank you John for certing me even though you didnt feel the best today, and for all the support you have given me along the way.....One thing he didnt mention was the fact that he nearly certed on a 5.5in tonight, very close and this is without bending at all in the last month.........This Red cert has been eating at me since I missed my first cert attempt several months back, during that time I hurt my wrist and was wondering when I would work back up to it..For all you new guys out there dont ever give up this stuff takes time.....The 6.5 FBBC was typical John Beatty stuff and fought me the whole way down. Both Mr. Beatty and Mr. Strossen have been real class acts to work with and I appreciate all they have done and do for this sport....Thanks to all you grip board guys for your inspiration, both in word and in accomplishments, you have pushed me on to better things.
