Guest Reverend
I've whipped together a homemade set of Farmer's Walk handles. From IronMind, I ordered a couple of their plate loading pins, complete with carabiners. I had just been tying weights together but this became too much of a nuisance. With the plate loading pins, I can adjust the weight at a moment's notice, depending on how far I want to go. For handles, I use a couple pieces of 2" diameter PVC pipe five or six inches long. This fits my hand about right. Through the PVC pipe I run some strong nylon cord and tie both ends to a dog leash clip (probably the weakest link in the chain, but it hasn't given out yet. Then I load up the pins and I'm off. Fast and easy. And painful. If nothing else, it's worth it for the strange looks I get from the neighbors. -The Reverend
