Guest Jeff Roark
I have heard all about Joes secret weapon, but didn't he use the TTK too? How much did he use these two devices compared to his grippers? He secret weapon was basically a plate loading machine correct? Were there any structural diiferences in his particular machine compared to commercial brands? How did he use these along with his grippers? blueshadow
Jeff, past postings indicate that Joe's secret weapon was a modified IM Hardy Handshake, unless I am sorely mistaken I believe ol' Sybersnott has one also! JJ
Guest Jeff Roark
Modified how? to get greater range of motion? How? What about his TTK? Was it the basic model or was it modified?
supersqueeze
He made all of his own equipment ... except the grippers. Both SW and his TTK had greater range of motion than the IM products. -Mike M.
Sybersnott
blueshadow....... CONGRATS my friend! You are paying attention!! The SW is an AWESOME tool for grip training. However, IT HURTS LIKE ALL ####. The SW is my main machine, and I have experienced massive gains in my grip strength by using it. It is NOT a machine for beginners, though. I'm using it because it is the one machine that gave me what I was looking for - RESULTS. I was stuck on the #3 for quite a while. I decided to call Joe Kinney and ask him about this problem. He told me what I should do - I did it - BANG!! That #3 was toast! Unfortunetly, this machine is NOT for everyone. I also urge caution with any program that you should try (or any machine for that matter). Train HARD - but smart. Injuries are no fun. blueshadow
No doubt,Syber! I myself have no intention of obtaining a SW, my Hardy Handshake and guillotine type machines give me all the pain I need and want. Later, JJ
