FrankyBoy
I lately did some pinching with a wooden globe with a diameter of about 4". I found this exercise very interesting due to the position of the fingers. When the weight starts to drop it just opens your hand a bit wider. Seems like a mix of classic pinch, hub pinch and even gripper work (no-set or sweep). Anyone tried this?

pdoire
I lately did some pinching with a wooden globe with a diameter of about 4".Anyone tried this? ← I have made a softball...(approx 3.5-3.75 Diameter), hardball and a golf ball into grip tools by adding a hook on the bottom. I forget where on the interent I found these ideas...I am yet to use them...but they are there for when I start focusing on pinch. Does it want to pry your fingers wide ope???talk about no real gripping surfaces...It seems you are working the "claw" position, it is also difficult to get your "Palm" into this type of pinching. Zevich
Sounds like you have a grip on the world! I have a 4 inch artillery casing which I filled with gravel. Because of the slick brass sides of the casing it keeps pulling the weight down. The more it slips the harder I try to grip. The harder I grip the more it slips. Good grip tool.
