foggymountainmuscle
Whew, I'm going to start taking my grip endurance a bit more seriously after this. I'm definately pleased I didn't take last in darn near every event like I did last time I did this. Big thanks for giving me a reason to spend the money and time to make a 1 inch V-bar. neilkaz
Congrats, Dan and good going to all. Can you tell me what the exact plates you use to pinch are so that I can work on my timed holds ? thx.. neilkaz..
Steve B.
Hey Eric, What do you think about having an east vs west online grip contest in the future? The Mississippi river would be the divde line. Might be kind of fun.
deaner
I'm definately curious about the 25# plates used, maybe mine are real thick, but I can only hold em for about 10 seconds. I wanted to join in the fun but have injured right hand, no way I could do v-bar or plate pinch, I'd have been in there, except that plate pinch for time, damn. Great lifting guys, I will definately be ready for the next contest.

FrankyBoy
One question though: Whats the reason that nobody got 10 points in the vbar event?
EricMilfeld
One question though:Whats the reason that nobody got 10 points in the vbar event? ← There's actually a very good reason for that Franky - I'm a goober! :stuart But I just fixed my typo, which incidentally didn't affect Chris's total point score. So maybe I'm only a partial goober.
DAN PRAYDIS
hi guys and congrats to all very close numbers and thanks to Eric for holding it the plates I use are stamped standard 25lb 11.3kgs and the width for both together is a 1/8 of a inch over 2 1/2 inches wide I guess that is 2 5/8 of a inch I think what helped me was working my thumb on a clamp and 140 lb dumbell holds until they drop a competition me and my son have at our gym everyone looks at us like we are crazy :stuart before I do any pinch I wash my hands is very hot water I have dry hands and its like wearing a steel glove to lift steel then I chaulk up the plates and my hands and lift looking foward to more contests in the future no one in Maryland has any the only other lifter I know here is Dan Cenidosa have fun and stay strong Dan P
