climber511
I just use my leather lifting belt. I slip a carabiner over the front of the belt, then use a loop of 1" webbing . Hook one end of the webbing into the biner, slip the loop thru the weight plates, clip the other end of the webbing thru the biner and dip away. I've never used much over 100#, but that feels fine on just the belt.
foggymountainmuscle
I broke a lifting belt that way climber. I currently use a length of chain with a towel wrapped around it, but I wish I had a good dipping belt. Old Guy, I tried to look for that type of dipping belt at Atomic Athlete but for the life of me could not find it, even after locating procuts made made the same company. I did find a store on the internet that sells them and I must say that a heavy duty dipping belt for about 25$ is a good deal. maidenfan
I have IM's belt and a leather belt - both work fine. IM's belt is pretty plush and comfy (will hold over a 1000lbs too), but expensive. I have several of the Red Ox products (cable attachments) and they are well built.
