New to grip and CoC

Hey, I'm new to specific grip work, and have only just discovered CoC grippers. I found somewhere to order some, ordered a pair of trainers, and have found they're pretty easy to close. (All those who are working on, or have shut #3 grippers- shut it.) I guess I'll have to buy a pair of #1's pretty soon. Am I going the right way about this? Start off with the weakest and just keep going as and when, or should I be less of a pansy and think BIG?

We all have to start somewhere, right?

LOL

Hang around mate and you'll get loads of advice on the grippers, sometimes I wonder if this shouldn't be called the CoC board  :D  ;) . Grippers not realy my thing, prefer training with holds/ pinching etc.

Good luck

Anvil, get a full set of COC, the #1, #2 and #3. Forget the #4. It will be useless for awhile. I'm very close on the #3 and can't barely move the handles of the #4. By getting them all together, you'll save on the shipping.

Read the board and you'll find many good advice to boost your training. As Wanagrip wrote, there are over 20 certified COC on the board. Plus, there are many to come in the next months or year.

Thanx for the tip, Tou, but living this (UK) side of the pond, there's only really one outlet for them anyways, and the postage is free. Besides, they cost about twice as much over here. :crazy If I had a credit card, I'd probably get them shipped in from the states, but I haven't, so won't. All that said though, the company that sells them here is fast and reliable, so I can't moan that much. Britain's not reknowned for being cheap. (Though perhaps I am...)

I'm getting a #1- that should keep me quiet for a while... :blush
