Guest 115-1005574997 Posted January 3, 2002 Share Posted January 3, 2002 I was lead to believe that coc type grippers DID NOT recruit the thumb when used. Is this so? The reason i ask is that my thumbs feel extreamly sore and worked as hard as a demanding pinch grip session! Is it just me (as i have small 'thumb pads' ) or do other people find this as well? This may be due to a difference in technique though, if you hold the gripper at the joint where your thumb comes into the hand, then I can see how it would get sore.
