Grip_Maniac
Hey guys, I've been doing grip work for a while know and I have plenty of grip toys (mainly from Ironmind or home-made). I'm interested in getting into bending. I just need help getting started. I've been checking out Ironmind's "Bag of Nails" and John Brookfield's "Art of Steel bending" video. Are these good for a beginner bender with no previous experience? I already have John's "mastery of hand strength". Anyone's advice is greatly appreciated, as always. P.s. Isn't IM's 'Bag of Nails" a bit expensive??
FbaLLPlaya_53
If I were you I would check out Fat Bastard BB website, or make a trip to your local hardware store and pick up some 3/16 CRS. Good luck with training.
kerbjr
Start out with some 60D polebarn nails, then look for 60D Timber ties, very inexpensive and generally easy to find. Beware of the pole barn nails as many brands will snap in half instead of bending. Buy a few from several different sources to find the bendy ones..Go to benders web site for good ideas on how to start out....Brett
