ironorr
Are the IM yellow and blue nails hot rolled or cold rolled steel?

hublifter
I was told that they are a carbon steel. That's why people bending 6"x 1/4" CRS are shocked when they try an IM Blue and it is just barely kinked.
maidenfan
I was always told they are crs. I was able to bend my first 60d (home depot) a few weeks ago. I ordered a batch of yellows and blues to see where I stood. The yellow was pretty easy and the blue was just a tad harder than the 60d. I'm sure the nails are just like the grippers when it comes to getting two alike.
Kurt Lane
My 60D's from home depot are WAY harder then the blues.
ishred
I personally didn't notice a difference between im's blue and 6" 1/4" stock from home depot. but make sure when you get your stock from somewhere that it is crs since im's are crs.
