#2 Reps

I know on the Ironmind site it says:you need to be able to get about 20 - 25 reps with the previous gripper to get the next level up. I was wondering how many reps you guys were able to do with the #2 before you could close the #3.

I was only doing about 6 when I closed the #3. I hadn't been training all that much. Then all of a suddern I was closing the 3. I tried the #2 for reps at the time and did around 6. I would say my #2 ia average as is my #3. It's not like my 2 is super hard or my 3 is super easy.

I am curious to know how close I would be, I'll be ordering my #3 within the next couple of days. My best full range reps on my #2 so far is 5, which I did today. I did 4 yesterday (Sunday).

I did no rep training on my #2 at all when I closed my #3. I mostly did timed holds and negatives.

It won't come down to reps when you close the #3, but strength - oh, and BTW I heard the new #3's are stinkin' tough!! Good Luck! :D

I could get around 14 reps on mine. I doubt I can get 20-25 reps now and I can only get 11 no set reps at the end of my workout. I'd say my 02 #3 is about average.
