Bob Lipinski
I preordered some. They look pretty cock diesel to me.
OldGuy
Rumor has it that if Ironmind brings out a new harder than a #4 gripper, it will be called "cock diesel"
Scott Styles
They looked much too big for my hands. What I'd like to see is someone come out with a smaller, less expensive gripper. One with thinner, shorter handles and a narrower spread to accomodate my hands! Seriously! Look at all this wasted gripper: http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?act=mod...cmd=si&img=1064
sigmfsk
hey, the prowriststraps site http://www.prowriststraps.com/grippers shows both a left handed and right handed gripper. and they're both individually wrapped in packaging with writing, so the image can't be flipped. I e-mailed heavygrips a long while back asking about the left/right handed, but never got a response. Stuck with my funky Lemley.
John Beatty
Ordered mine - as a curiosity item to scare people with.
ishred
hey scott, u hve the same problem i do. How big are your hands? 7"??? I like what they wrote about the hg500..."impress your friends".hahahaha Impress them how....by showing them you spent 50 bucks on a gripper that noones ever gonna close. JustinH
I can see buying them as a collectors item but you will never close either of them. HG500 is that the strongest gripper out there now or is one of Warren Tettings still stronger?
ironorr
The Robert Baraban World's Toughest is by far the strongest gripper on the market. It is estimated to take over 700 inch pounds to close.

Bob Lipinski
The HG500 isn't at the "impossible" level.
Scott Styles
ishred, yeah my hands are 7". It boggles my mind that there is such a difference in hand size that people could actually use these grippers. I bet in the closed position my hand would be open as wide as it is when I set a normal gripper to parallel. I think I remembered someone on the board saying they almost closed it, though. itch85
how hard are these then, like HARD hard or just HARD
bencrush
I'm guessing probably closer to the HARD-Hard-hard, rather than the HARD or just Hard choices. Do I smell a poll coming on?
Vice
The 400 is hard, the 500 is hard-hard-hard.
