Paul Kilmer Posted September 2, 2004 Share Posted September 2, 2004 I've only been bending for about a month or so and I've been rapping up the HRS in a ordinary wash cloth. However it is so shredded up from the ends of the steel pierceing through I figured there has got to be something better out there. EricMilfeld Posted September 2, 2004 Share Posted September 2, 2004 The Iron Mind pads are simply 12x12" pieces of Cordura, a fabric similar to ballistic nylon. These materials are highlyl puncture resistant and wear well. Your cheapest source would be E-bay or some of the dealers on-line. Leather also works well, and is a lot easier to roll up.
