bigbuffdan
THis may be a very dumb question, but how many grippers do I need for the KTA program. I heard someone mention in a post that you need a hand ful of grippers. I have the T, #1, and #2. I heard Rick walker mention something about the heavy grips for like 60$ sounds like a good deal, but so do the Beef Builder grippers. thanks for replies

JeffPeterson
You need a few to warm up on. Your goal gripper. A hard one for negatives and hopefully a filed one. You may need differant ones for each hand. Aslo a gripper you can us for strapholds.
Tou
I have 10 grippers and when I was doing KTA, I used my #1, #2, BBM (which I filed), my #3 and my #4. I also used a PDA 309 (easier than a 2) and a PDA 325 (a hair close to a 3). I would say at least 4 grippers.

stevelc
Work off of wire sizes to determine the strength of the gripper. Wire Sizes

ishred
if the wire size determines strength, how come there are a bunch bigger than the #4, but only a handful of people who can close the 4? where can i purchase other grippers (other meaning not IM)? Michael_B
if the wire size determines strength, how come there are a bunch bigger than the #4, but only a handful of people who can close the 4?where can i purchase other grippers (other meaning not IM)? Maybe to give the #4 closers something to shoot for? I haven't heard of anyone closing any of them yet, though. You can order the Beefbuilder grippers at http://www.wwfitness.com/index.html or you can contact Warren Tetting...he's the one that makes them, and can make a custom gripper if you want. I think his number's listed somewhere on the board, but I forget where. You can order the Robert Baraban crushers at http://www.handgrippers.co.uk/
