ZRMMA
Starting to log some training here. I wrote a bit of an introduction about myself in the new members section. I just don’t want to retype the same stuff here. I got interested in grip training from watching Adam Glass and Jedd Johnson training videos and have added a lot more grip into my training and have learned as much as I can this past year. Just some general info Height- 6’2” Weight- 205lbs Hand Size- 7 3/4” Going to list some personal bests… some of these are not grip related just things that have been recorded over the years or currently. Some of these I intend on breaking and some I have no interest in trying to best. Non grip lifts/prs could be from anytime. All grip numbers are current because I have only found out about this stuff this year. Squat-320, Bench-350, Deadlift-440, Military-185, Axle DOH-330, Rolling Thunder-184, Little Bighorn-193, Best Gripper close CoC 2.5(123), 2” Saxon-223, Best Blob/Block lift-53.4lb York 100 Fatman Blob, 40yd time-4.7, 1mile-5:40, 2mile-11:29, 5mile-31:39. My favorite grip feat so far has been lifting The Fatman Blob and lifting it at the same time with a Next Gen Blob for a Double Blob Lift.

For a lot of main lifts I’m not necessarily pushing max effort but just getting a lot of volume in and continuing to build a strong base. The grip lifts I mentioned are kind of main lifts. I didn’t want to list 100 prs, but I still track prs on multiple handles/implements and will always try to revisit and break as many as possible when I can (I’m happy with slow progression and not in a rush) for bigger lifts and feats I’m eyeing I’d say: Lift the Inch Dumbbell, Pinch 45’s, Little Bighorn and Rolling Thunder- 200+ 2” Saxon- 250, Axle 350+, Close #3, , Lift my other Fatman blobs I haven’t lifted yet. And for the feat style lifts if it can be lifted with both hands/double lift, or farmer walked/held for time or weight added then I’ll just keep moving forward one step at a time.

ZRMMA
10-3-2021 1. Sled Drag (2Plates)- 60yds x 6trips 2. Single Leg (16”)Box Jump- 2x10 each leg (40total jumps) 3. Ab Wheel- 3x10 4. Finished with some rounds of Bagwork Not really a big grip workout but things like this keep me sharp/athletic and help me recover a lot faster for the next weeks training. Also yesterday (10-2-2021) wasn’t a planned training day but got around some things I don’t own and had to give them a try. I successfully lifted a York Glob from a half 65 (Globe style dumbbells) I did a deadlift, clean and pressed it and picked it up and did 4curls with it. And pulled off a 110/100 Double Hex Block Lift video below.
Bigfoot Grip
Really strong pinching jealous of the blobs and block weights you train with! Blobs look like they would build incredibly strong thumbs and carryover to other grip lifts. I can see why they would be one of your fav's.

What is your backround? Like are you former powerlifter or work with you hands for a living?
