My grip adventure

Quick lunch training with my wife!  She started to workout last week and actually asked me to train with her to teach her the techniques of the baselifts.

Deadlifts:

Bench:

We will see! Strength does take time to build :) And my focus is on other stuff more then bending but I hope in time I will be ready!

So @bruce1337 sent me a piece of rebar 8x200mm so we could compare strength and steel! Nailed it. 

He also sent a piece of @Slippery PeteHRS and I managed to bend that too and finally lift the curse of Anton 😂😂

Strong baseline with your presses. With some tweaking theres no reason you shouldnt be pressing 100kg

Axle rackpulls 

Singles on 170 and attempts on 180 to hard. I think this is the way to work around my axle being homemade. Shit spins like crazy.

Had to blow of some steam last night and since DO did work so well yesterday I thought that would be a perfect idea... Since the Red nail is 7" and my mobility is trash I thought I would get to work on some 7" steel.

7mm nail 180mm x2

8mm HRS 180mm x1 

Rebar 185mm x0 two attempts, didnt move

G8 Reverse attempt, no movement.

G8 DO halfway

On the last G8 attempt my left hand opened up so couldnt finnish it. Everything felt alot heavier then the day before and mobility wasnt there so good practise. The technique is not dialed in properly, I should probably stick to 7mm nails and 8mm HRS for some time to get it more consistent.

Ordered Imps and 2 pieces of Red nail from Gods of Grip, last 2 nails they had xD

Since @David_wigrenis dating my mother and will become my stepfather I thought ill walk in his footsteps and try some horseshoe bending! 

Okay that might not be true but @Griparn  sent me a horseshoe "Diamond Classic 1 or 0 not sure" and we swapped grippers to hit our ranges better (perhaps) thanks alot Griparn for that, I have high hopes to close that #4 in time! 

 

Not in great shape regarding grippers since it was some time ago and also my body is very worn atm but just had to try!
